Music makes me smile and helps me breathe when life seems to restrict either. Music also syncopates my beliefs with my life. It resonates with my soul and articulates the deepest thoughts of my heart. Music is one of the most beautiful facets of creation.
Learning To Fly is my first project. It’s what I call “rough-cut recordings” from my tiny loft studio. And while the tracks aren’t perfectly balanced or mastered, they’re intimate. They’re an invitation into the room while the music is being created. All 16 tracks were written and recorded in a span of 10 months chronicling a journey of learning to fly: learning that falling is part of that process and finding that love is indeed the most powerful tangible in this life. The songs and stories wrestle with life and the God who created it.
